Amazon Prime Day 2019

When is Prime Day 2019

We’ve been crossing our fingers this year for Amazon’s long kept quiet Prime Date but it’s finally out.  Amazon Prime Day 2019 date is now officially on July 15the running to the 16th. Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day 2019 will begin at 12 a.m. PT on Monday, July 15 and conclude at 11:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, July 16. That’s right, this year’s Amazon Prime Day will run for a whole two days, a record for the Prime members exclusive holiday.

If you’ve not heard about Prime Day, it’s no different from Black Friday, the shopper’s holiday that runs every November of each year. Unlike Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day is exclusive to a few select of shoppers under the ”Prime subscription”. Simply put prime members receive a variety of perks on a variety of products. This year Amazon is promising over a million deals with discounts on items such as 4K TVs to Fire TV Sticks. The two-day event is set to also offers deals on best laptops, desktops Chromebooks, tablets, iPads and Smart Home devices. With all these deals declared, it’s bound to get confusing on which deals to go for. But don’t worry, because that’s why we are here; to give you the best Prime deals so you can save on cash and benefit on deals.

So what the best Deals Right now?

What will predominantly be on sale on Prime day, however, is Amazon products. Expect some of the best deals on Echo devices, Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, Fire TV media streamers, and other smart home gadgets. Pay attention to this page as we update it. That’s because just like last year, in the two weeks leading to Prime Day, Amazon offered discounts on some products. There were respectable discounts on Amazon devices, AmazonBasics gadgets, Kindle Unlimited, and more.

This year, there are more than a few items already on sale, that is apart from Amazon products.

How to shop on Prime Day.

Going online to Amazon.com is naturally the way to go hunting for these deals. But you can always go through other methods such as:

  • Amazon Smile

When you shop through smile.amazon.com, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates 0.5% of the purchase price to charitable organizations of your choice. Not all products though, there are eligible products. An just so you know, every product on Amazon.com is also on smile.amazon.com. If you’re willing to touch someone’s heart, that’s a nice opportunity right there.

  • Amazon App

The Amazon App is like most apps you know for Android and iOS. Only that its platform hosts billions of people across the globe and allows customers around the world to shop millions of products on Amazon.com. If you’ll be making rounds on Prime Day, download the Amazon mobile app and shop remotely from wherever you are.

  • Ask Alexa

Alexa is Amazon’s famous virtual voice assistant created to basically help you shop online. You can ask Alexa to add to your cart on Amazon. Amazon has a plethora of devices that respond to voice commands and a host of other products from third-party companies with Alexa compatible systems. From Amazon, you’ll find the Echo, the Echo Spot, the Echo Dot, the Echo Look, the Echo Show, the Echo Show 5, the Echo Plus, the Echo Input, the Fire TV, and Fire tablets. All these will listen and obey your command on orders. There also other interesting voice-activated gadgets that will perform a variety of tasks such as play music on Spotify, Pandora, and others. But smart-home devices such as thermostats and light bulbs that activate on voice are what turn me on. Pun intended!

With such a list you won’t struggle to find virtual help while shopping, just ask Alexa.

  • Whole Foods

Just like last year, this year’s Amazon Prime will see Prime members get a $10 when they shop on the Whole Foods Market. There will be discounts on selected items as well. Let me break it down. Simply put, Prime members who spend $10 or more at Whole Foods (or via a Prime Now order), will receive a $10 Amazon credit that can be redeemed during Prime Day (July 15 and 16). The best thing about it is the $10 can be used anywhere on the Amazon site except for gift cards. Shoppers can opt to apply for the $10 credit on any item and receive a $10 discount instantly.

In addition, Whole Foods offers great deals and discounts too, especially on fresh produce. There are discounts on select items, including organic cherries, apple pie, and wild-caught salmon.

Who can shop on Amazon Prime Deals?

I would have loved to say anyone can shop on Prime Deals, but that’s not the case. Well, anyone can but they need to have a Prime Subscription to access the discounts and advantages of Prime Deals. For those who know and have subscribed, Amazon Prime membership (with 100 million members) is a no-brainer. It allows you to save and there are massive discounts available almost throughout the year. Check out Deals of the day for more.

Ordinarily, membership costs $119 per year or $12.99 per month. However, if you’re not ready to jump on the bandwagon immediately, you can utilize the one-month free trial ahead of Prime Day. Thankfully, Amazon did not forget about students. If you’re one on a two year or four-year college and have a valid .edu email, you can get a free six-month trial of Amazon Prime Student, which gets you all of the benefits of Prime in addition to special student-specific deals and coupons. When the trial period ends, the Prime Students costs only half the price of regular membership and remains that way through the four years or until you graduate.

What other none tech items will be on sale on Prime Day?

We’ve known Prime Day largely for tech items but there will be other items on sale too. Amazon’s own brands like Presto and Rivet Furniture are already 30% and 20% off, respectively. We also expect to see a good portion of deals on cooking devices too.

How fast will Amazon Prime Day deliveries arrive?

Thanks to Amazon one-day delivery services, Amazon Prime members can receive their orders faster than last year or ever before. The service ships orders from coast to coast in the U.S and you don’t need a minimum purchase to qualify. Amazon also included an in-store Amazon counter option for Prime members will be able to pick up their purchases.  There are 100 Rite Aid stores distributed throughout the country where members can go to.
